Editorial policy

The principles used to keep Software Insights useful, accurate and transparent.

Editorially prioritisedSource-awareBuilt for decisions

Purpose

Software Insights publishes concise, practical guidance for technology buyers, operators and business leaders. Editorial work should answer a specific operating, buying or implementation question.

Accuracy and transparency

Material facts should be verified against current, authoritative sources. Composite scenarios must be labelled. Signal reports and maturity benchmarks must not imply survey data or market statistics that do not exist.

Topic ordering

Current topics are prioritised through editorial judgement, source quality, operational relevance and the strength of the decision question they address.

Sponsored work

Commercial partnerships are labelled clearly. Sponsors may inform the subject, but they do not receive permission to disguise promotional claims as independent evidence.
